6 Months Old!

Patrick turned 6 months old a few days ago. Wow where has the time gone. It's hard to remember him being a tiny little newborn! He's not so tiny now! He weighs 17 lbs 11 oz and is 27 1/2 inches long. That means he is still in the 90th percentile in length and is now in the 60th in weight. The doctor said his growing should start to slow down now which is good since he is growing out of his clothes so fast. Patrick is now wearing 9 month clothes and a few 12 month clothes.
Patrick is eating solids a lot more now and loving it. He has also learned to sit up ........ just a little unsteady at times. He also would really like to be mobile he just hasn't figured it out yet... ( and we are NOT going to help him) he will be mobile soon enough! Bath time is still one of Patrick's favorite times of the day! He could stay in there for hours. Patrick has become quite the social butterfly whenever we go anywhere he tries to talk to everyone that passes by. This is quite a change from my quiet little self. I got out the big camera and took some 6 month shots of Patrick here are my favorites. I definitely agree it's harder to take pics of your own children. That photo session wore me out!! We love this little boy and are so happy to have him in our family. It has been so fun to watch him grow and develop. We are looking forward to finalizing the adoption which will hopefully be sometime soon.
